Meet Our Team
The "Labour Market Participation of Young People in Sierra Leone" is led by Dr. Elena Samonova, who is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bremen in Germany.
The project is supported by a team of 4 youth co-researchers: young Sierra Leoneans with diverse backgrounds who contribute valuable local knowledge, lived experience, and insights that enrich the research process.
The study benefits from international expert advice and a team of experienced Sierra Leonean fieldworkers through our collaborations with Nestbuilders consultancy.
The project was generously funded by the Fritz-Thyssen Foundation.
